2024 State Leadership Conference in Review

Leadership Out of This World

The annual meeting of the Louisiana Association of Family, Careers, and Community Leaders of America convened March 4-5, 2024 on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The event featured inspiring keynote speeches, milestone recognitions, and various competitions, including STAR Events, skills tests, and a knowledge bowl. Attendees engaged in networking activities, participated in business sessions, and elected new state officers. The conference also included a community service session with the Lafayette Animal Shelter & Care Center, where members created dog toys for the shelter. The event concluded with awards, farewells from outgoing officers, and the induction of newly elected officers. The conference provided FCCLA members with a memorable experience focused on "Out of This World Leadership."
